Coffee Break! Sometimes during your busy day, don't you just know you need Coffee. When I lived in Pennsylvania there was a Dunkin Doughnuts right by my work and right by my church. Often during the week, I would find that I just need to go out and get my Hot or Iced Carmel Latte, Extra Carmel, No Sugar. Sadly, there isn't any DD in Rockford. I very rarely get a coffee break anymore. Yet there are many times when I just take a moment to reflect on a scripture or take time to pray. It may just be a moment, but it is in that moment that I can reflect on the LORD’s strength. The simple verse “The joy of the LORD is my strength” can carry us through the toughest of days. So dear friend, when you feel you need a coffee break and there is no coffee to be found. Just stop and think on a verse or two. The LORD will walk right beside you.
